Our company focuses primarily on activities of daily living (ADL) and physical activities required to provide care. Our Story
Blue Orchid Care Inc. was founded based on our family’s struggles with providing care for our grandmother who was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. Our mission is to create and design simple, innovative solutions for the challenges millions of caregivers face every day. We help our customers provide the best care they can by enhancing their quality of life experience. Our goal is to provide family caregivers with consumer-friendly medical devices that rival the big and expensive equipment seen in hospitals. We believe the future of healthcare is at home and our products will allow older adults to live productively within the comfort of their own family environment.

Our Design and Development Focus
Our focus when it comes to the design and development of assistive devices is mainly on the six basic categories of ADL (activities of daily living). These activities are often what healthcare professionals use to assess the ability of the patient when it comes to their independence. Our goal here at Blue Orchid is to analyze these areas and find pain points around which we can create viable solutions. Our first product ORCHIDlift was created based on the challenges often seen around mobility and transfers. As we expand our product portfolio, we hope to improve the quality and the experience of our customers in each of the following categories shown below.
